Support Associate
The Support Associate is to provide support for the Membership and ensure the day-to-day operations of Oxford House Saskatchewan homes is carried out inline with policy and the following:
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Support the addictions recovery of members who reside in an Oxford House Saskatchewan home.
2) Performs intake screening protocols, final interviews, and orientation of successful applicants.
3) Assist new member with orientation upon acceptance by the House.
4) Mentorship – with each individual, assisting with an orientation, personal needs, behavior, interaction with other members, etc.
5) Assist and participate in the training of new staff in each Oxford House; and
6) Assists new and current residents with Social Assistance, Food Bank, etc.
7) Attend house meetings when requested.
8) Handle monthly membership due collection and deposit at the bank;
9) Maintain security and the orderly operation at each house, as well as confidentiality of records.
10) Deal with member relapses, disruptive behavior, noncompliance issues and evictions
11) Upon eviction, be responsible for the packing and storing of the former member possessions.
12) Undertake regular and random drug testing.
13) Ensure that house upkeep, maintenance and repairs are reported and, if possible, assist in any repairs needed.
14) Protect the security of Oxford House Saskatchewan digital networks and systems by following best practices for password creation and connecting to only secured networks.
15) Assist and participate in the training of new staff.
16) Other duties as assigned.
Reporting Line: The Support Associate reports directly to the Executive Director
Shifts: Monday to Sunday - Flexible Start and End Times.
On Call: Scheduled evenings and every second weekend
Mileage: Use of personal vehicle is required, reimbursed at $0.55 per KM

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
