seeking an experienced Sushi Chef, min 3 years experience, with a passion for growth
Responsibilities:
- Prepare sushi dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sushi preparation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by taking special requests and accommodating dietary restrictions
Skills:
- Proficient in food handling and preparation techniques, particularly in sushi making
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong attention to detail to ensure the presentation of high-quality sushi dishes
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- Prior experience in the food service industry, preferably in a sushi or Japanese restaurant setting

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
