We are looking to hire a temporary 0.6 FTE teacher at Trinity E-Learning School in Lethbridge. This assignment is to commence April 15, 2024 and terminate June 30, 2024. The successful candidate will be teaching grades 10/11 English Language Arts and Social Studies, and some senior high options. This position is covered by the ATA collective agreement.

We are looking for a dynamic educator who believes in supporting positive behaviors through effective classroom management, has a strong sense of inclusion, and is willing to build strong connections with parents, fellow colleagues and students.
Trinity E-Learning is an in-person outreach school that provides individual learning plans for students. Trinity outreach program provides an educational alternative for senior high school students who find that traditional school settings do not meet their needs. Additionally, Trinity serves concurrent students at both CCH and St. Michael's School in Pincher Creek.
All of our high school courses are delivered through independent learning modules that are housed within Google Classroom. The role of the teacher is as follows:
Support students in their learning through mini-lessons, building individual timelines, helping students stay on task and providing comprehensive feedback on assignments.
Evergreen courses, by updating assignments and learning materials to meet the needs of students.
An understanding and/or interest of how AI is impacting learning, particularly in the humanities is an asset.
Qualifications
Certified to teach in the province of Alberta;
Completion of ‘Brain Story Certification’ through Alberta Family Wellness Institute https://www.albertafamilywellness.org/training, prior to the end of the contract.
