Penelakut Island Elementary School - Teachers Teaching-on-Call (TTOC) Penelakut Island Elementary School (PIES) is an exciting educational organization that provides K4 - 7 education for member of the Penelakut First Nation. PIES takes pride in our safe and caring school that welcome and support children of all backgrounds and abilities, as well as having a collaborative environment that values and supports its educators. PIES is currently accepting applications for Teachers Teaching-on-Call (TTOC) for the remainder of the 2016/17 school year as well as the 2017/18 school year.Qualifications: Completion of a Bachelor of Education Certified by the TRB (Teacher Regulation Branch - Ministry of Education) or eligible to be certified Registration with TQS (Teacher Qualification Service) Solid understanding and knowledge of the new Ministry curriculum and competencies would be an asset.
