Our current Cafeteria Supervisor is away on leave and we are looking for someone to oversee the daily operation of our workplace cafeteria (The Wagon Wheel) including food preparation, inventory, ordering, and quality control. The ideal candidate for this position has experience working in a kitchen environment, an eye for detail, and good culinary skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide our warehouse and office teammates with quality food at affordable prices.
- Prepare and serve a daily lunch special in our non-commercial kitchen.
- Create and innovate new menu items.
- Work independently as the only cafeteria teammate on staff
- Daily pricing and stocking of cooler, grocery, and snack items.
- Weekly ordering through our warehouse and various 3rd party vendors.
- Inventory and budget control to ensure costs are maintained.
- Ensure a clean kitchen area and cafeteria environment for all teammates.
Monday - Friday
7:30am - 3:00pm
Temporary 30 day position with option to extend based on current chef's leave
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1 month
Salary: $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
