Job purpose
The main purpose of this position is to manage the day-to-day operations of Bluenose RV Centre’s lot. The Lot Supervisor plays a crucial role in creating an efficient and customer-friendly lot environment, contributing to the company’s overall success.
Duties and responsibilities
➢ Manage the day-to-day operations of Bluenose RV Centre’s lot;
➢ Implement and enforce safety protocols for lot activities, including vehicle movement and customer interactions;
➢ Coordinate with sales and service departments to ensure timely and accurate placement of RVs for display, sale, and servicing, using both company tractor and trucks to move inventory;
➢ Conduct regular inspections of the lot to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company standards;
➢ Responsible for ensuring that all trailers and equipment are locked and secured at the end of each work day;
➢ Occasionally, responsible for dumping and flushing RV black and grey tanks at our dumping station;
➢ Manage inventory tracking systems, documenting arrivals, and departure reports for each RV unit;
➢ Collaborate with the sales team to facilitate smooth customer walkthroughs and demonstrations of RV units;
➢ Address and resolve customer concerns related to lot operations in a professional and customer-focused manner;
➢ Assist in the implementation of new lot management procedures and contribute to process improvement initiatives; and,
➢ Conduct all responsibilities in a manner that does not create a health and safety hazard to themselves or others.
Qualifications
➢ High school completion and a minimum of two years related experience;
➢ Detail oriented with an ability to multi-task and work under time pressures;
➢ Demonstrated experience, requiring superior driving skills, with large vehicle towing often in situations where there is little room to move around;
➢ Basic understanding of RV parts and services to facilitate communication with customers and technicians;
➢ One year of RV experience preferred, but not required;
➢ Must be able to work independently and as part of a team;
➢ A valid Nova Scotia Driver’s License is essential

Working conditions
Due to the outside nature of the work, the incumbent must deal with all types of weather including extreme heat and cold.
Occasional weekend work may be required.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
