Adecco is currently seeking a full-time Thermal Plant Steam Operator for a long-term contract assignment at a well-established oil and gas company in Lloydminster, AB. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing Thermal Facility operations, including managing water treating, high-pressure steam generation, sour oil wells, and oil treating facilities. If you hold a Power Engineering Certificate and have a minimum of 3 years of experience operating steam-generating equipment, control panels, oil processing, and well equipment, we invite you to apply for this opportunity.

- Shifts: 7 Days on, 7 Days off |12 hours/shift |Day & Night shifts

- Ensure safe and efficient operations, meeting production targets in compliance with company guidelines.
- Perform maintenance and troubleshoot area-specific equipment to optimize performance.
- Conduct condition monitoring, sampling, and testing as per area responsibilities.
- Support on-site maintenance activities and provide guidance to contractors.
- Mentor and provide on-the-job training to new employees.
- Comply with all HS&E requirements and High Reliability Organization standards.
- 3rd Class Power Engineering certificate, 2nd class certification preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in operating steam-generating equipment, control panels, oil processing, and well equipment
- Familiarity with the oil and gas industry is advantageous
- Proficient with computers (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook), SAP, and field data capture systems
- Strong team player with the ability to take on increased operational responsibilities
- Solid understanding of safety and regulatory standards
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
