We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Total Rewards Advisor to join our HR team. If you are a seasoned professional with a passion for leading and optimizing compensation and benefits programs, we want to hear from you.

This is an important role that supports both Compensation and Benefits in a variety of projects and responsibilities. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, Canada, you will be part of the Canadian HR Team supporting 500+ employees for Zurich Canada and World Travel Protection.

What you will do

Plan and Program Management


• Lead the design, implementation, and management of benefits programs for Canada.
• Support the development, evaluation, implementation and administration of compensation programs. Leads compensation projects and initiatives as assigned
• Conduct thorough market research, plan analysis, and monitor compensation and benefits trends to ensure competitiveness and compliance.


Analysis and Reporting


• Analyzes, discusses and presents findings and trends in a concise and effective manner to support informed decision making.
• Handle various compensation and benefits reporting/audit needs, including regulatory requirements and plan/program management.


Project Management


• Provide project management and problem analysis for the implementation of new or revised compensation and benefit programs.
• Ensure seamless execution and adherence to project timelines.


Vendor Management


• Manage vendor relationships including contracts and service level agreements.
• Ensure vendor performance aligns with organizational standards.


Market Data Evaluation


• Evaluate and analyze market data, maintaining appropriate documentation for compensation benchmarks.
• Participate in compensation surveys, analyze results and maintain data in compensation management systems.


Adhoc Analysis


• Conduct adhoc market pricing, pay range development, and salary analysis as requested by internal stakeholders.
Benefits Policies
• Develop and maintain benefits policies, including the preparation of documentation and timely submission/distribution of all legal filings and required communications.
• Review and maintain communications for accuracy, compliance with plan rules and updated legislative requirement
Invoice Management
• Take ownership of invoice management related to compensation and benefits programs.

What you bring to the table

Required:


• Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in Compensation and Benefits Administration

OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in Compensation and Benefits Administration

AND


• Experience in benefits, compensation, or Total Rewards including base pay management, incentives/bonus plans, benefits plans, leave administration and retirement plans.
• Experience analyzing and presenting compensation issues
• Experience in job evaluation methodologies
• Strong understanding of Canadian labor laws and regulations
• Proven experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and service level agreement oversight
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
• Proficient in compensation survey participation and analysis
• Exceptional project management skills with a keen attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with SAP, Excel spreadsheets, graphing and PowerPoint
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and/or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designations a plus
