Job Description:

Position Overview:

As a Travel Nurse Coordinator at 911 Nurses GTA, you will play a vital role in facilitating the placement and coordination of travel nurses to healthcare facilities across Canada. You will be responsible for ensuring that our travel nurses are well-prepared and supported throughout their assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

Assignment Placement: Match travel nurses with appropriate healthcare facilities based on their qualifications, skills, and preferences.

Credentialing: Ensure that travel nurses meet all necessary licensing and certification requirements for their assignments.

Orientation: Provide comprehensive orientation and support to travel nurses, including information on the facility, location, and assignment expectations.

Travel Arrangements: Coordinate and book travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and transportation, for travel nurses.

Communication: Maintain open and regular communication with travel nurses to address any questions or concerns and provide ongoing support during assignments.

Compliance: Ensure that all travel nurses adhere to company policies and industry regulations.

Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during travel nurse assignments.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of travel nurse assignments, credentials, and expenses.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in nurse staffing, travel nursing, or a related field is preferred.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in using travel booking software and tools.

Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Knowledge of healthcare industry travel requirements is a plus.

Healthcare experience and/or credentials preferred.
