We are looking for a professional manager to lead our team at our new Truck Centre location at 119 Hooper St in the heart of Carleton Place.
The new building opened in August and is ready for a leader to come in and bring the business to new heights!
The manager is responsible to oversee the daily operations of the centre, ensuring smooth, and efficient workflow. We believe that the best way to take care of our customers, is to take care of our employees first. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of investing in your team so that they can then take care of our customers.
Our ideal candidate has experience working in a medium-duty shop, has experience working with dealership processes, and is a strong trainer. The manager will be responsible for creating written processes and procedures for each role and making sure each employee understands and follows each process for their given role.
The manager will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the daily operations of the center, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
- Managing a team of technicians and advisors, providing guidance and support
- Coordinate and prioritize work orders, ensuring timely completion
- Creating written processes and procedures for each position and training employees to follow said processes
- Ensure safety procedures are being followed and equipment is maintained appropriately
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inventory, and customer information
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize operations and customer satisfaction
Skills required:
- - Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair
- Familiarity with dealership procedures and standards
- Experience operating heavy machinery is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- - Computer literate (Excel spreadsheets, ProDemand, Quorum DMS)
- - Excellent customer service
- - G driver's license

Compensation:
Salary plus bonus based on overall success of the dealership.
Salary commensurate with experience.
We provide benefits (prescription, dental, life insurance) as well as RRSP Contributions up to $2000 per year.
