Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Co-op Student Intern to join our team as a Business Analyst. As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the telecommunications industry while working on projects related to Operations and Transformation. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for documenting business requirements, detailed processes, and user stories by working closely with both Operations and IT teams.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

-Assist in gathering and analyzing detailed business requirements by collaborating with stakeholders.
-Participate in stakeholder interviews, workshops, and focus groups to understand business processes and objectives.
-Contribute to the documentation of business requirements using standard templates.
-Assist in prioritizing requirements based on business value and feasibility.
 
Process Improvement:
style="list-style-type:square"-
-Support the evaluation and alignment of existing processes with TM Forum standard processes.
-Assist in documenting new processes specific to Operations, aligned with the ServiceNow Order Management module.
-Contribute to process mapping and analysis to identify areas for optimization.
-Assist in the development of comprehensive process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flows.
 
Solution Design and Implementation:

-Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
-Contribute to the development of user stories and acceptance criteria using Agile methodologies.
-Participate in sprint planning and grooming sessions to refine user stories.
-Support user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders.
 
Qualifications and Skills:
style="list-style-type:square"-
-Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
-Strong interest in pursuing a career in Business Analysis.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
-Basic knowledge of telecommunications industry concepts is a plus.
 
Additional Qualifications:

-Familiarity with requirements management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multitask effectively.
 
Working Conditions:
style="list-style-type:square;margin-bottom:11.0px"-
-This is a full-time co-op position located at 65 Kelfield St, Toronto, ON M9W 5A3.
-The position requires two days of in-person attendance per week, with the possibility of additional in-person days based on project needs.
Acronym requires that all students applying for student opportunities be enrolled in post-secondary level studies and be returning to full-time studies upon the completion of their work term.
