Education:
I. Minimum High School diploma or GED
Experience:
· 1-3 years customer service and sales in a fast-paced retail environment
· Merchandising giftware and fashion
Competencies:
· Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
· Organized and able to multi-task
· Excellent client relationship and customer service skills
· Ability to work with diverse groups of individuals.
· Proficiency with computers MSOffice Products
· Operating a retail POS system
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Other: Solid team player, detail-oriented and ability to thrive in fast-paced environment and proven ability to work collaboratively.
Provide support to the managers in maximizing the profitability and operational standards of the business.
Customer service, retail sales and help with merchandising led by the managers.
Communication:
Effectively communicate with leadership, co-workers, volunteers, and customers
- Maintain a positive working relationship with suppliers, salespeople, volunteers, staff, Team RVH, and other customers.
- Assist with supporting other staff and volunteer duties and assignments.
- Provide exemplary customer service and assist when required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Staffing:
Assist in training of new staff and volunteers as requested.
· Assist other staff and volunteers in achieving operational goals and standards.
Inventory:
Support the managers to merchandise inventory of products and maintaining supplies.
Health & Safety:
Ensures RVH and Auxiliary policies and procedures are always followed reporting anything unsafe to management.
Financial Responsibilities:
· Ensures all transactions are balanced and monies are handled in a safe manner reporting any discrepancies to the Store Manager
POS System Responsibilities:
· Have excellent knowledge of the retail POS systems.
· Assist with maintaining and implementing all upgrades to existing POS.
· Maintain accurate inventory in POS by ensuring all transactions are completed efficient and returns or refunds are reported to management.
· Ensure proper paperwork is maintain and completed.
