Job Description: We are currently seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing recorded team meetings and other team training content, and for editing short clips for our social media accounts.
This is a fully remote, work from home position, with flexible hours and schedule. It is a part time contract position.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of video production processes and techniques
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and a creative mindset
• A portfolio of past video editing projects
• Experience with social media platforms and video optimization techniques
• As this is work placement funded by the Canada Digital Adoption Plan, you must be eligible under the requirements of the plan. For this, you must be between the ages of 18-30, be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or refugee with the right to work in Canada, and not have already been hired under a CDAP subsidy.

The hourly rate for this position is $25. The expectation is for you to work 20-35 hours per week, based on your availability. It is a part time contract position totaling 250 hours, over the course of two to four months.
