Shift Energy Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Vancouver, BC. This position is part-time, scheduled for 3 days per week, with flexible days based on workload.

Responsibilities:
· Prioritizing safety by adhering to safety policies and wearing mandatory protective gear, such as steel-toe shoes and helmets.
· Reporting any safety hazards promptly and maintaining warehouse safety standards, including proper signalization.
· Operating forklifts safely for loading, unloading, and sorting tasks.
· Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and managing shipping/receiving operations.
· Ensuring accurate inventory transactions and conducting periodic cycle counts to address discrepancies.
· Collecting packing lists, monitoring inventory levels, and reordering materials as needed.
· Applying the FIFO method for material dispatch.
· Generating reports from inventory management systems and handling documentation for dangerous goods shipments.
· Delivering materials to designated project locations using company vehicles if required.
· Preparing and shipping materials kits to crews according to project schedules.
· Coordinating recycling and disposal of materials with service providers.
· Reporting damages to carriers and rejecting shipments with visible damages.
· Logging in/out designated tools and safety equipment.
· Performing other warehouse tasks as assigned by the department head.
Working Conditions:
· Occur in varying temperatures typical of warehouse settings.
· Involve frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of solar panels and equipment.
· Require performing repetitious duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
· Require the ability to lift and carry 50 pounds repeatedly.
· May require working flexible hours to accommodate business needs.
· Adherence to safety protocols, including proper handling of equipment, is crucial.
Qualifications:
· Class 5 Driver licences
· Clean Driver Abstract
· Background in Supply Chain Management and Warehouse Management
· 1-3 years of experience in inventory management, ERP transactions, serial code registration, shipping/receiving, and order picking.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Confident and articulate in verbal and written communication.
· Ability to effectively navigate a fast-paced environment, accommodating last-minute changes and requests with a positive demeanour.
· Willingness to be on call when required.
