As a Hose Tester, you will responsible for testing various types of hoses to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. This is a critical role in our organization as it directly contributes to the safety and reliability of our products.
Responsibilities
- Conducting pressure and leak tests on hoses according to established procedures and standards.
- Recording and documenting test results accurately.
- Identifying and reporting any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards.
- Operating testing equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintaining testing equipment and ensuring it is in proper working condition.
- Following established safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
- Collaborating with quality control and production teams to address any issues or concerns related to hose testing.
- Sorting and stocking warehouse products.
- Assisting with other functions of the warehouse such as receiving duties.
- Assisting to load and unload company trucks.
- Assisting with routine inventory, and cycle counts.
- Performing facilities maintenance and general housekeeping duties as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One to two (1-2) years of experience in a warehouse environment
- Forklift certification is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail to accurately record and report test results.
- Knowledge of testing procedures and equipment is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Possess flexibility to meet our customers’ demands and business requirements. This may include working overtime, covering other shifts if required.

Work Conditions
- Warehouse environment
- Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.
- Lifting or moving up to 70lbs may be required.
