What We Need
Title:
Warehouse Associate
Description:
Warehouse Associates at HPD are trained to be proficient in all aspects of our warehouse. These roles include, but are not limited to, order picking, shipping, receiving and restocking product. Our associates aim for high levels of accuracy in their work and strive to do so in a timely manner. Together, all members of the warehouse team ensure that the warehouse is kept cleanly, orderly, and safe while contributing to a positive work atmosphere for one another.
Responsibilities:
· Unloading/unpackaging products
· Putting products away in the correct locations
· Restocking products as required
· Picking client orders to prepare for shipment
· Accurately scanning orders to be shipped
· Carefully packing orders for shipment; ensuring that all shipped orders are properly packed and organized for safe shipment with all required documents included
· Properly loading, preparing, and wrapping pallets
Requirements:
· Able to be on your feet all day (our associates average 10,000 – 15,000 steps per day)
· Able to lift up to 70 lbs (few of our items weigh this much, but it is required for the few that do)
· Steel-toe footwear
· Reliable transportation to arrive to your shift on time every day (public transportation is not an option due to our location)
Beneficial Experience/Skills:
· Previous warehouse experience
· Familiarity with Vertical Lift Module (VLM), Work Assist Vehicle (WAV) and Genie for picking products from higher up on our racks (up to 17’)
· Forklift experience (rarely used in our warehouse)
