The Warehouse Materials Handler is a pivotal position in ensuring all purchased products are properly packaged, received and all BearCom Wireless inventory is accounted for. In this position you will be responsible for manual work in receiving, picking, packing, shipping and monitoring of goods, materials, and supplies. It is imperative to be on time and work with accuracy and sense of urgency to be successful in this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform all receiving job functions daily
- Order picking
- Packing of orders daily
- Perform all shipping job functions daily
- Learn JDE computer skills as needed to perform all of the above mentioned tasks
- Warehouse organization and optimization, location labelling, and stock rotation
- Allocate products to sales orders and transfers to Canadian branches
- Calculate shipping estimates
- Pack/wrap/strap and ship freight orders
- Material Handlers are also requested to help with OPS projects as assigned
- Any other job duties as assigned
- Good work record, timely and eager
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must be able to take and understand direction from management
- Must have good communication skills
- Must pay attention to detail
- Must be able to read and clearly write letters and numbers
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be a team player
- Warehouse experience a plus
- Must be able to lift, pull and push up to 60 lbs.
- Must be able to operate a pallet jack
- Must assist in keeping all work areas clean and safe
- As this position evolves each Material Handler must be able to evolve with the new and additional job requirements as needed
- BearCom Wireless is a Non Smoking facility
- Hours 8am 4:30pm
- Drug screenings and background Checks are part of the hiring process, which may also include a Motor Vehicle Record check.
