SUMMARY
Performs various duties in receiving, stocking, picking, packing, quality control, and shipping of products within the warehouse environment. May also require the ability to operate various equipment such as forklift or other motorized vehicles and machinery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Pulling stock from warehouse locations in order to fulfill a customer pick ticket
- Completing appropriate documentation as needed for certain processes
- Assembling proper containers or selecting preassembled container for the shipping of products using spacers, fillers, and/or protective padding
- Receiving, processing, and stocking inbound products in their appropriate location
- Transferring stock to and from locations within the warehouse
- Pulling and packaging multiple items to create a kit for certain orders
- Handling and loading multi-sized packages onto outbound truck
- Auditing orders and correcting when appropriate
- May Operate lift truck (if certified) or manual pallet jack to move and hoist products from one area to another
- May Operate lift truck (if certified) or manual pallet jack to load and unload product from inbound and outbound trailers
- Breaking down and properly disposing of packaging materials
- Keeping work area and facility clean, neat, and organized at all times
- Utilizing appropriate tools and equipment as needed for all responsibilities
- Reliable attendance is a must and willingness to work various shift hours as assigned.

Basic Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Minimum Reasoning Skills - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Computer Skills –Basic computer skills, interactions with Warehouse Management System
Other Knowledge – Ability to navigate through Windows. Ability to use RF scanners.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- HS Diploma or GED
- Less than 1 year
- Forklift certification considered an asset

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. floor to waist
