Warehouse Material Handler

Our Edmonton AB store location is searching for qualified candidates for a Warehouse Material Handler role. This position is full-time, permanent, and based in our showroom warehouse.

Main Responsibilities:

· Unload containers delivered to the warehouse by use of pallet jacks, dollies, etc., and organize the store and merchandise

· Assist with loading onto delivery trucks; ensure the accuracy of the picked products

· Prepare pallets for outbound shipments, including the wrapping of products

· Assist with the pickup of merchandise by customers at the loading dock and safely place purchased items into the customer vehicle once the paperwork has been reviewed and completed

· Will be asked to assist drivers with completing deliveries

· May also act as a backup Forklift Operator; experience with Reach Trucks would be a definite asset

Qualifications:

· Forklift experience; if needed, you will be provided training certification on the Reach Truck

· Ability to lift 50-100lbs

· Knowledge of hand and power tools is an asset

· Work well with others, possess a strong safety orientation, and demonstrate attention to detail in handling paperwork.

· Adequate capability in handling basic math and completing paperwork

· Good verbal and written communication skills

Hourly rate: $18:50 per hour

Day shift schedule: Monday to Friday - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm; and participation in a Saturday shift rotation.
