Warehouse (Shipper/Receiver)

Viking Instrument & Control is currently looking to add a key member to our team in the role of Shipper/Receiver at our branch in Edmonton, AB. Ideal applicants should have previous experience working in a warehouse environment within the industrial products area.

Shipper/Receiver

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred

- Able to multitask
- Basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

- Basic computer knowledge

Areas of responsibility:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments
- Unload and unpack items from delivery trucks
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation for outgoing shipments
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Assist with inventory management
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
