The incumbent will be responsible for management of cost-effective operations including warehouse & distribution, facilities and customer sales support aspects in the branch environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee effective and cost-efficient branch operations.
• Oversee effective sales and service.
• Effective management of Branch team.
• Ensure a safe and efficient warehouse environment at all times.
• Ensure ongoing effective liaison with, and support from, Head Office.

Skills and Knowledge

• Post-Secondary Education.
• Education in customer service preferred.
• Three to six years related experience preferably in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Three to five years managerial experience.
• Solid knowledge of logistics.
• Knowledge of Windows Office suite (Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of on-online inventory management systems.
• Customer focused; coaches others for exceptional customer service orientation.
• Proven ability to manage, lead, and provide an environment within which employees are self-motivated to meet performance standards.
• Builds a long-term relationship, credibility with the customer.
• Ability to trouble shoot, identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Able to communicate clearly, both written and verbally. Talks in way customers can understand. Does not ‘talk down’ to customer.
• Ability to work well under pressure with deadlines and changing priorities.
• Handles transaction and dealings in the best interest of both the customer and Company.
• Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
