Expert Plus Employment is currently looking to hire a Warehouse Supervisor for our client in Delta.
**Job Duties**
- Manage the performance of all reports
- Ensure adequate training of staff
- Support and guide the growth and development of direct reports
- Deal with performance issues and consult with the Administration Manager guidance for on complex issues
- Ensure staff without computer/email access has access to important information.

- Follow programs implemented to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation and utilization of the facility
- Oversee all warehouse services including receiving, storing, shipping, and handling returned damaged goods maintenance, and administrative activities to ensure customer requirements are met in an efficient manner
- Keep teams up to date with daily operations issues, priorities, etc
- Comply with all Quality, Health, Safety and Security programs to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment and property
- Comply with all applicable quality and regulatory requirements of Health Canada and other applicable authorities and client requirements are met
- Strive for continuous improvements in all facets of warehouse operations
- Prepare accurate and timely reports regarding warehouse operations
- IN collaboration with Operations manager, keep warehouse supplies stocked and re-ordered when needed using cost-saving methods when available
- Other duties as may be assigned
- Uses common warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Balancing overtime/agency use
- Staff planning to avoid excess overtime expenses
- Maintain time and attendance system for agency and full-time staff daily following policies and procedures
- Escalate customer issues to the manager quickly when necessary
- Assist with planning for new customer implementations
- Participate in conference calls and meetings when necessary
- Demonstrate tact and diplomacy when communicating directly with a customer representatives
**Professional Experience Required**
Proven experience in a supervisory role in a warehouse or logistics environment
A high school diploma or equivalent required.
An Associate or Bachelor's degree in supply chain management is preferred.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
Knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word)
Familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) operations is a plus
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
**Skills Required**
- Proven proficiency in an automated warehouse environment, working knowledge of WMS technologies and Warehouse Distribution environment
- Ability to communicate with others effectively
- Good computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Ability to work various shifts when required
- Good decision-making skills and response to high-pressure situations
- Ability to conduct research for special projects, respond to timely inquiries, and present written/ oral briefings
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizing skills to coordinate project activities
- Strong customer orientation and problem-solving skills
