About the position:
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and production areas, and developing strategies to ensure that production targets are met. They will be responsible for coaching, developing and maintaining a safe working environment for employees.

What you will do:
-Lead a team of warehouse operators and maintain the warehouse and tank farm.
-Supervise the preparation of mixes and the filling of products into different types of packaging
-Verify the accuracy of orders, items received, inventory and deliveries
-Coordinate shipping tasks
-Perform daily warehouse inspections
-Maintain records, communicate relevant information and prepare all necessary documentation
-Monitor and control inventory items
-Safeguard the health and safety of your team and the working environment by maintaining a safe and clean working environment and ensuring the appropriate use of personal protective equipment.
-Comply with Transportation of Dangerous Goods and WHMIS regulations, as well as other company laws and regulations.
-Ensure that your team complies with company policies and procedures.
-Perform transactional processing in a warehouse management system (SAP).
-Provide training and monitor its effectiveness
-Sort and distribute operational documents
-Perform other tasks as required.
What you will require:
-Must have a High School Diploma (HSD) and one to three (1-3) years experience as a supervisor or team leader.
-Must be a team player, reliable, responsible and possess a strong work ethic in a dynamic work environment.
-Must have the spirit of making safety a top priority.
-Must have good analytical skills and excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English.
-Must be meticulous, alert and detail-oriented.
-Strong computer (Microsoft Office) and SAP skills.
-Previous forklift experience and experience or knowledge of chemicals are considered assets.
-Experience in a union environment is considered an asset.
-Experience and knowledge of TDG and WHMIS is considered a strong asset.
