Position Summary
Calian is currently looking for an UID Labelling Lead who will be required to travel to military bases and installations in the Edmonton region to supervise the application of UID labels to DND equipment.

Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Manage and supervise employees during the execution of UID tagging activities at DND facilities
- Conduct site surveys to inform resource estimates for future UID tagging task authorizations
- Document and report in a DND-specified format any discrepancies and exceptions in material inventory compared to DME DRMIS records identified during marking activities
- Perform physical verification of each item to be marked against DND EMR records and item list ing and coordinating procurement activities including financial estimates, business requirements and contracting options (project procurement management, cost and estimate Management, sole source versus RFP process,)
Qualifications
- Must currently hold or be eligible for a Secret – Level II (or higher) Clearance with the Government of Canada
- Must have a minimum of 12 months of experience managing and supervising employees
- Must have a minimum of 12 months of experience performing at least three (3) of the following activities:
- Inventory management in a warehouse environment;
- Stocktaking and inventory counts of material;
- Performing goods picks and put-aways in a warehouse environment;
- Packaging and repackaging of goods;
- Application of labels and markings to goods and packages;
- Perform general visual inspection of goods and equipment for any damage, shelf life, proper documentation; or
- Utilizing mobile computing devices to manage warehouse activities
- Must have successfully completed a high school diploma or higher
