Warehouse Technician

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Inbound/Outbound order processing: Accurately receive, ship, and label product, pick up product from inventoried locations and pack orders efficiently and accurately for delivery

- Ability to operate industrial powered forklifts

- Diagnose and repair mobility equipment, assessing issues with manual and power devices, troubleshoot functionality

- Perform safety checks on forklifts and other equipment within the warehouse

- Maintain and organize warehouse equipment to ensure a safe and clean work area

- Organize warehouse to easy access to parts and product

- Ensuring high standards of service while maintaining operation efficiency and a cohesive relationship with other departments

- Provide labour support when needed

Qualifications & Requirements:

- 2+ years’ work experience in a warehouse environment

- Ability to lift over 50lbs independently

- Experience operating industrial forklift equipment, manual and power devices, repair equipment

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

- Ability to stand for long periods

- Strong communication skills with other team members, and with internal and external customers

- Organized and detail oriented with great problem-solving skills

- Team player who works well under pressure, independently and as a member of a team

- Basic computer skills including knowledge of ERP and Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to type 50+ WPM

- Fluent in written and verbal English

- Applicants must hold valid work authorization in Canada

Schedule:

- 8-hour day shifts

- Monday to Friday work week
