We want to speak with you if you are self-motivated and efficient, ready to join our Bulk Plant Team in North West Edmonton.
This position requires lifting 40 pounds waist high, so physical fitness is key.
Duties and responsibilities
- Operate the Large Container Cleaning machine: drum cleaning machine and a sit down forklift
- Move Drums and totes around the warehouse
- Operate the drum crushing machine, and prepare for recycling
- Crushing drums and putting them into a recycling bin.
- Unloading and Loading full trailers of drums by hand.
- Decanting drums into totes.
- Load and unload goods and supplies and ensure proper handling
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper stocking of inventory in the work area
- Maintain quality in the warehouse and keep track of all damaged inventory and report the same to the supervising authorities
- Carry out all orders of the supervisors
- Work in accord with all safety regulations of the warehouse
- Coordinate work with fellow workers and other team members
- Warehouse housekeeping-maintain a clean safe environment
- Data entry and assistance with preparation of inventory
Qualifications
- 1-2 years labor or similar warehouse experience
- Forklift experience is an asset
- Excellent attendance record
- Reliable transportation
- Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
- Responsible and works well with others and independently
- Excels under high pressure situations
- Proven strong communication and personable nature
