Responsibilities
- Picking orders
- Preparing orders for shipment
- Receiving shipments from Tenaquip’s many suppliers
- Counting Inventory and maintain accurate stock
- Product put away and merchandising support, including but not limited to inventory control investigation
- Possible forklift duties (training provided)
- Process internal inventory transfers
- Offer product knowledge and direct sales service to ensure that the customer’s needs are satisfied.
- Handle email requests and provide quotations
- Ensure all items purchased are properly entered, allocated and efficiently processed.
- Process payment transactions and handle cash on a daily basis.
- Handle product returns including returning unsold items to stock.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping all areas clean and organized
Qualifications
- High School education (preferred);
- Shipping and/or receiving (an asset);
- Forklift experience (as asset);
- Knowledge in Microsoft Outlook (an asset)
- Must be able to manipulate stock weighing up to 50lbs.;
- Ability to work independently and problem solve;
- All applicants are subject to mandatory criminal background verification;
