Warehouse/Fill Crew Member

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, high energy people to join our Warehouse/ Proactive filling/stocking team.

Our Warehouse Team unloads trucks, delivers products to departments, and assists in replenishing bulk stock throughout the store.The Proactive Fill Team Members are responsible for locating, pulling and stocking merchandise onto shelves to achieve 100% in stock availability.

A successful Team Member must have a high level of commitment to accuracy, work well with others and be capable of learning and following procedures to ensure accuracy in the daily picking of products as well as working quickly to shelve product using handheld scanners in a physically demanding environment

Responsibilities and Duties

- Picking stock efficiently to fulfill daily pick lists
- Stocking merchandise onto shelves to achieve 100% in stock availability
- Using appropriate safety procedures when organizing merchandise
- Communicating with other Team members to ensure product accuracy/availability
- Maintaining accurate records of product picked and of stock shelved on individual shifts

Qualifications and Skills

The successful Warehouse/Proactive Team member will possess:

- Availability to work days, evenings, and weekend shifts as scheduled
- Ability to receive and follow instructions from the Proactive Team Lead and Store Management
- Excellent listening/communication skills
- Excellent decision making ability and problem solving skills
- The ability to use basic numeracy and literacy skills to accurately pick or place product and to track productivity

Physical Demands and Working Conditions
In compliance with the store’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures:

• Standing/walking for 8 hours. * Lifting and/or carrying of merchandise items, as required, on a regular, frequent and unassisted basis. Merchandise item may vary in weight from “light” to “heavy”. * Lifting and turning repeatedly throughout the shift. * Lifting above the shoulder, from floor to shoulder and floor to waist. * Ability to go up and down a ladder while carrying merchandise. * Walking and carrying things at the same time and pushing/pulling, as required
