Financial Administrative Assistant
ACT Learning Centre is a leading edge, dynamic, multidisciplinary practice in Ottawa. We are a team of Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Board Certified Behaviour Analysts, Communicative Disorders Assistants, Occupational Therapy Assistants, Registered Early Childhood Educators and Registered Behaviour Therapists providing exceptional services to children and youth with autism, or other developmental disorders/delays and their families.
ACT is one of three local providers of the Caregiver Mediated Program under the Ontario Autism Program (the PLAY Project) and the only local provider of the Entry to School Program (a school readiness program funded under the Early Years Pillar of the Ontario Autism Program). We also have a busy multidisciplinary practice with multiple locations throughout Ottawa.
We are presently seeking a dynamic, organized, and committed individual to join our team in the position of Financial Administrative Assistant.
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Financial Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Finance team, the Executive Assistant to the CEO, and the Director of Operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Work closely with the finance team to follow up on accounts receivable.
· Work closely with the Executive Assistant to the CEO to prepare monthly reports on billable hours, accounts receivable etc.
· Provide administrative support, including document preparation and file management.
· Handle client inquiries and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
· Ensure accuracy and efficiency in data movement and record-keeping.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Previous administrative experience
· Proficiency in QuickBooks
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software.
· Customer-focused approach with strong organizational skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Bilingual English/French will be considered an asset.
EDUCATION/ WORK EXPERIENCE
· QuickBooks experience: 3 years minimum
· Secondary School
· College diploma in Administrative Studies or Financial Studies (Accounting, Bookkeeping) (preferred)
· Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
· Customer service experience will be considered an asset.
JOB TYPE
· Part time with expected work hours of 15-18 hours per week
· Hybrid with an opportunity for remote work
