My support administrator has recently relocated, and I need a full-time permanent replacement who is bright, committed, detail-oriented, willing to learn and able to operate independently.

Job Description - Financial Services Administrative Assistant:
· Boutique Financial Planning firm in Vaughan looking for an Administrative Assistant. The position provides a great opportunity to work within a successful business that offers a warm and flexible working environment.

. Approx. first 2 weeks in office for training (Vaughan, Ontario)

Skills and Knowledge:
· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft suite, especially Excel and Word
· Tech savvy individual able to quickly learn software pertinent within the industry
· Working knowledge of industry specific software such as Morningstar Workstation and Vie Fund is an asset, but is not required
Main Duties:
- Pre and post client meeting administration: Prepare files including reports, client statements, forms and materials for client meetings and reviews.
- Data entry and Trade Processing: Perform trade and data entry in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner. Preparation of applications and supplementary forms.
- Investment and insurance services: Follow up with product manufacturers including Mutual Fund and Insurance firms to provide client and advisor support
- Client service: Respond and assist clients with their requests for information
