Wine Consultant Positions

Role

Conduct tastings and give guests an overview of Bella Terra wines

Identify opportunities to sell wine and our wine club through tastings, tours and events

Assist guests with selecting and purchasing wine

Achieve monthly sales and wine club targets

Process guest purchases

Provide support as needed in regard to tastings, tours, and events

Assist with general opening and closing duties

What we’re looking for

You have a minimum 1 year of experience in a winery, hospitality or retail environment

You are Smart Serve certified or willing to be certified

You are flexible with hours of work

You are able to work daytime, weekends, holidays

You are comfortable working in a fast paced and changeable environment

You enjoy talking to and engaging with people

You have a passion for customer service

You are sales and target driven

You have an interest in learning more about wine

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $17.50-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

• Monday to Friday

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• sales: 1 year (preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Serving It Right (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

Ability to Relocate:

• Niagara On The Lake, ON L0S 1J0: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
