On-Call Coordinator position (Work from home)
Homecare West, established in 2004 provides quality home care assistance for seniors on the North Shore and Greater Vancouver.
This position offers flexibility between work, and home life.
The On-Call Coordinator answers calls (from staff and clients) after regular office hours in the evenings and over the weekend. Hours are as follows:
Evenings: Monday to Thursday from 5pm - 830am and Fridays from 5pm until Monday 8:30am/ all day on stat holidays
Alternating weeks
$540/regular week
$665/ stat week
We are also looking for flexible office support for vacation coverage.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Scheduling staff with clients
- Answering inquiries from the public
- Handling duties as assigned
- Written report to supervisor with all details of calls that came in during shift
APPLICANTS REQUIREMENTS
Excellent verbal and written English skills
- High level of Customer Service experience
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong organizational skills
- A master of multi-tasking
- Disciplined to work independently
- Must be computer literate
- Having a Nursing background (i.e.: Certified Nurse's Aide, RN, LPN) is an asset but not mandatory
Previous Scheduling or office experience is an asset
A Criminal Record Check will be required upon employment.
