As the Workforce Support Administrator, you will provide administrative support related to recruitment and workforce management for the Recreation Service Delivery team. You will assist leaders in organizing and distributing workforce information and submitting employee data changes. You will also support internal and external recruitment by initiating job postings, collecting and tracking candidate information, and submitting new hire documentation. Primary duties include: 

  • Support workforce management by compiling and distributing workforce data, including seniority lists, eligibility lists, and overtime reports. 
  • Support employee data management by submitting employee movements, status, and classification changes. 
  • Organize and track information submitted by employees related to staffing and availability. 
  • Audit employee data and submit corrections; assist with tracking workforce statistics. 
  • Support recruitment by tracking competition results, preparing and approving recruitment documentation, and arranging pre-employment testing and new hire training. 
  • Organize and maintain workforce related communications, documents, and forms, while also assisting with the development of employee and union presentations and information packages. 
 
Qualifications 
  • A completed High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • At least 3 years of related experience is required, including at least 2 years of administrative experience in a unionized environment and 1 year of experience with a Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
  • Experience working in recreation will be considered an asset.
  • The ability to accurately manage high volumes of data, information, and official records while maintaining alignment with business unit and corporate practices is essential.
  • The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organization skills, along with the ability to efficiently conduct multiple tasks and projects without losing sight of details and priorities.
 
Working Conditions: Office environment with occasional travel to different worksites including pools, arenas, and leisure centres.

Compensation: Pay Grade 6 $31.30 - 41.86 per hour 
Days of Work: This position typically works a 5 day 
work week, with 1 day off in each 3 week cycle. 
Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
