Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and guidance to youth in a safe and supportive environment
- Plan and implement educational and recreational activities for children
- Assist with homework and academic enrichment
- Foster positive relationships with youth and promote their social and emotional development
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive program
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children or youth is preferred
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
- Ability to engage and connect with children of various ages
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging behaviors
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
