The Co-op Opportunity
The Digital Product Co-op is responsible for evolving the way Technical Safety BC manages and uses Digital Products and platforms used by Technical Safety BC clients and safety officers. This summer co-op will collaborate with internal partners to help the team deliver a searchable solution for client insights, supporting strategic projects throughout the Technical Safety BC portfolio. This role requires a client-focused mindset, technology skills, and a demonstrated interest in communication and storytelling. Proficiencies in user experience development or technology marketing is a major plus.
Pay: Grade 10, $26.74 per hour
Number of Positions: 1
Location: Vancouver, BC, or one of our regional offices in BC
Days/Hours of Work: Monday – Friday; 8:30am – 5:00pm (hybrid: in office/remote work)
Work Term: max of 12 Weeks
- Canadian citizenship or work authorization required
About the role:
- Assist with the creation of a repository of market insights and user experience data across Technical Safety BC’s digital portfolio, ensuring cross team visibility and consistency in collaboration.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure insights repository can be used to influence digital strategies, market strategies, and specific product plans.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure that the insights repository can be sustained and supported as an ongoing service, preferably using existing platform investments.
- Track and resolve key customer and internal partner concerns and escalations.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate work in computer science, marketing, business, or related fields spanning technology and industry
- Experience in creating or launching a publicly available project a major plus
- Demonstrated interest in user experience, client service, or marketing projects
- Ability to drive results independently while thriving in collaborative environments
- A deep desire to learn and improve by seeking, accepting, and acting on productive feedback
