Associated Labels and Packaging is looking for a full-time Digital Production Assistant to join our team!

Summary: The Table Top Operator is an entry level position in our Digital Division with potential for growth and has a range of duties within the digital department to ensure a smooth production workflow. This includes assisting other operators with the printing process such as rewind/finishing, delivering rolls and dyes, managing inventory and ensuring it's maintained and available. Primary duties of this role are:

Primary Responsibilities of the Digital Production Assistant:

  • Splice rolls, if necessary to meet quantity per roll requirements
  • Pull samples for retains and/or customer, document label count, bag (if required) and box labels for shipping, attach box label and samples to shipping box as per customer standards
  • Deliver printed rolls and/or dyes, UV plates to Digicons for rewind
  • Assist Digicon Operators with rewind/finishing functions
  • Clean coating trays and anilox rollers
  • Cut cores to required sizes
  • Ensure core inventory is maintained
  • Maintain shipping box inventory within department

Qualifications of the Digital Production Assistant:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team-player
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Print Industry experience an asset

Hours: Night shift, Sunday - Thursday, 10:30pm - 6:30am.
