Salary310J Trailer Tech Apprentice
Location: Woodstock, ON (on-site)
Type: Full-Time, Hourly
Minimum $30/hr (higher depending on experience)
Role:
To provide safe, reliable and cost-efficient vehicles by performing quality preventive maintenance inspections and repairs as well as performing expert diagnosis and repair as required to prevent breakdowns on road, reduce vehicle down time and improve total fleet reliability.
Role Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain Sysco trailer fleet
- Diagnose faults and breakdowns of equipment
- Follow Sysco procedures for documenting all work performed on work orders
- Complete timely and quality repairs on all equipment
- Perform trailer Preventative Maintenance
- Repair and replace liftgate hydraulic components
- Assist in Provincial Safety Inspections and perform required repairs
- Basic knowledge and skill to perform welding and cutting as required
Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in trailer maintenance
- Registered 310J Apprentice
- Highschool diploma or GED required
- Current and valid drivers license
- Must own tools necessary to perform maintenance inspections and repairs
- Basic computer skills
