Position Title: Commercial Sales Account Manager (permanent, full-time)
Compensation: Competitive pay + health & dental benefits
Location: Greater Toronto Area

Summary

Now, we are looking to hire a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Account Manager l to join our dynamic team. The Account Manager will play a crucial role in driving sales and exceeding revenue targets.

The Commercial Sales Account Manager will work with a variety of builder and commercial accounts within their geographical region (GTA) to deliver on sales targets, gross margins and high levels of customer satisfaction. The will ensure that strong customer relationships are nurtured to grow revenue from existing accounts and ensure future business is secured with their respective accounts to maintain a ongoing supply of future contracts.

Job Duties

  • Grow Commercial business by bidding on and securing contracts for future Builder projects
  • Prospect and cultivate new accounts
  • Negotiate and secure upgrade opportunities with each project
  • Sales cycle includes working with manufacturers, quoting, signing contracts, shipping and delivering on awarded project
  • Create all necessary sales materials to complete a proper project sales deck
  • Create all necessary specification packages for builder as per specific contract schedule, ensuring manufacturer specs are used and any specific concerns are highlighted to help prevent future delivery/site/install deficiencies
  • Work with project manager, develop and build referral relationships, attend divisional meetings, attend trade associations, and promote corporate image in the industry
  • Maintain accurate field inventory information in conjunction with inventory manager
  • Work closely with designated site coordinator to ensure smooth completion of all projects with minimum deficiencies
  • Generate monthly/quarterly reports as required

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience selling to the home building industry.
  • Solid track record of product or service selling and a demonstrated ability to successfully meet and exceed monthly targets generating new business
  • Able to develop strong long-term strategic relationships with customers and have a history of excellence in sales with a moderate (months) sales cycle
  • Excellent account management skills
  • Comfortable interacting and negotiating with senior managers within the Builder industry
  • Ability and willingness to travel locally to meet accounts and visit job sites (car and valid driver’s license)
