What you’ll be doing:
- Responsible for the success of a $4-8M book of program business, with YoY growth and profitability targets.
- Lead/manage (pod) of 3-5 associates that have responsibility to execute customer account plans in a timely manner and that meet revenue and profitability targets.
- Work with the sales team to develop, own, and execute the program strategy/elements of program execution, including: development and delivery of the strategic business plan / client calendar for each account; inventory management; program profitability; execution of marketing activities.
- Ensure assigned programs meet launch dates, target expectations for margins, SKU count and budgets. Manage the relationship with primary customer program contacts.
- Manage all customer communication related to program executions: sets program strategy (including in-stock SKU count), communicates project updates, manages customer expectations, hosts “After Action Reviews”, manages any difficult conversations/addresses any customer issues in a timely manner and in order to meet internal SLAs.
- Participate in Customer Business Reviews to provide all program updates. Identify and close new opportunities within accounts.
- Develop forecasting and budgeting for assigned accounts.
- Manage to customer business and contractual requirements. Work with BD to support RFP and pitch projects. Work with the Marketing Specialist to drive organic, profitable growth and to manage inventory through marketing initiatives.
- Develop relationships with primary customer contacts to help grow/build/maintain positive relationships. Coach, mentor, train and influence their team to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work and professional development.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and strong communication within team and across support teams. Responsible for onboarding and training team members, providing ongoing feedback and coaching, and performance reviews.
What you bring to the table:
- Product development, merchandising/buying, marketing, sales and account management experience
- Solid PC skills – primarily Excel, Word and PPT
What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 6+ years of business experience
- 2+ years of people management experience
