Accountant

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in various accounting software.

Duties:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions
- Assist with financial audits and provide necessary documentation
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards

Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or PeopleSoft
- Strong knowledge of account reconciliation processes
- Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
- Familiarity with financial auditing procedures
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $41,281.15-$84,144.09 per year
