We are looking for an Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance Team.

Treasure Hill is an award-winning home builder of new single-detached family homes and townhomes in communities throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

Overview
You will be responsible for:

• Prepare and process full-cycle A/P and A/R;
• Prepare bank reconciliations and HST returns;
• Calculate overtime for payrolls;
• Reconcile corporate credit card transactions;
• Prepare year-end working papers and tax returns;
• Participate in ad-hoc projects; and
• Support other accounting duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of public accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Proficient in financial software systems such as QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, Sage, etc.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
