We are currently looking for an accounting specialist to join our accounting team at our Guelph head office location. This role is responsible for month end accounting inclusive of bank, products and semen inventory reconciliation, wire payments and fixed assets. This role reports to the Accounting Manager.
You will be accountable for:
- Journal entries
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations and deposits
- Fixed assets
- Month-end closing of sales
- GST & PST remittances
- Additional reporting and projects as required
To be successful you will need:
- 3-5 years experience as part of an accounting team
- Month-end accounting cycle experience
- Business or Accounting diploma or equivalent experience
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is an asset
