Accountant (Part-Time)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. As a part-time contributor, you will be willing to work without direct supervision to prepare financial records and financial reports and related analysis and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have experience in monthly/quarterly Sage Accounting and be willing to help the organization establish an online payments platform and to streamline existing web-based revenue streams and reconcile the annual budget process with accounting records.

Duties:

- Prepare and analyze financial statements

- Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data

- Manage accounts payable process

- Manage revenue process

- Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations

- Utilize accounting software (such as Sage) to maintain accurate financial records

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

Experience:

- Proven experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role

- Strong knowledge of general ledger and accounts payable accounting

- Proficiency in using accounting software

- Proficiency in Excel

This position is open to individuals with relevant experience and also to bookeeping and accounting firms that operate on contract
