Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable duties
- Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Assist with payroll processing and maintaining employee records
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and files
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel
- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an accounting assistant or similar role
- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Excellent proofreading skills to ensure accuracy of financial documents
- Proficient in data entry and file management
- Familiarity with front desk operations and phone systems
- Proficient in using Google Suite or similar software applications
- Previous experience working in a dental office is a plus
