If this sounds like you, MacGillivray Injury and Insurance Law is seeking an Accounting Clerk to work based out of our office in New Glasgow, NS.
MacGillivray Injury and Insurance Law is a civil litigation boutique firm representing clients across Atlantic Canada and beyond. We currently have offices located in New Glasgow, NS; Halifax, NS; St. John's, NL; Moncton, NB; and Toronto, ON.
Responsibilities Include:
Review invoices for documentation and approval prior to payment
Process cheque requests
Accurately process credit card bills and employee expense reimbursements
Assist in month and year end closing and other projects as needed
Perform required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and correspondence
Qualifications:
Post-secondary degree or diploma, or equivalent role-related education and experience
Strong written and verbal communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
Able to meet deadlines timely and accurately
Experience working collaboratively in a team
Proven ability to work independently if needed, taking initiative and exercising sound judgement
Able to be flexible, and adapt easily to change
