ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK
Reporting to the Divisional Accountant, this role on our Finance team is a full-time opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Enter accounts payable into Oracle Financials
- Ensure invoices and cheque requests are properly supported and approved
- Review account coding and correct any miscoding
- Ensure the accuracy of sales tax (GST and PST) and identify and calculate self-assessments where required
- Prepare vendor accounts reconciliations
- Back up for woods account payable entry
- Front desk reception
- Cover end of day woods check-ins
- Event planning for the division
- Filing and photocopying as required
- Support to the team in additional administrative duties as needed
The ideal candidate will have:
- Post-secondary training in administration or accounting or 1 to 2 years experience in a similar role
- Experience in Oracle accounts payable is an asset
- High degree of accuracy with numbers and strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must be flexible and be able to adjust to changing workloads and tasks
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite, advanced Excel skills
- A self-starter with the initiative to learn and grow
Our highly competitive compensation package includes:
- Competitive base salary with annual bonus opportunity

- The salary range for this position is usually between $51,500-$59,500 depending on skills and experience.

Located in central BC in the Cariboo region, Williams Lake has a population of approximately 11,150 residents.
