Accounting Intern
Location: Mississauga - Hybrid (remote & in-office), must reside in Ontario
Reporting To: Business Unit Controller/Finance Manager
Term: 4 months (May to August 2024)
Salary: hourly

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Preparation of data inputs and providing support for the budgeting process
• Assist with preparation of monthly/annual financial reports and analysis.
• Conduct financial analysis related to operations within the organization
• Support the month end close and before month end processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration in process
• Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and various stakeholder requirements
• Effective attention to detail
• High level of proficiency with Excel
• Willingness to take on ad-hoc tasks
• Strong communication skills
• Exposure to financial accounting systems (D365 F&O and Vena preferred but not required)
