Accounting Intern
Location: Mississauga - Hybrid (remote & in-office), must reside in Ontario
Reporting To: Business Unit Controller/Finance Manager
Term: 4 months (May to August 2024)

Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Preparation of data inputs and providing support for the budgeting process
- Assist with preparation of monthly/annual financial reports and analysis.
- Conduct financial analysis related to operations within the organization
- Support the month end close and before month end processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration in process
- Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and various stakeholder requirements
- Effective attention to detail
- High level of proficiency with Excel
- Willingness to take on ad-hoc tasks
- Strong communication skills
- Exposure to financial accounting systems (D365 F&O and Vena preferred but not required)
