Administrative Assistant

Job Summary

Usselman & Johnson CPAs is a full-service professional accounting firm providing accounting, tax and related services to a broad client base with a focus on agriculture and small business.

We are seeking a seasonal Administrative Assistant to join our team. The position will be permanent full-time from approximately February 20 to May 31 annually (negotiable) with the possibility of casual employment for the remainder of the year.

Preference to candidates with the following skills and attributes:

· Highly organized and self-motivated

· Ability to provide a high level of customer service

· Detail oriented with an emphasis on producing quality work

· Ability to multi-task under pressure and manage and meet deadlines

· Ability to work independently and take direction

· Ability to work collaboratively in a small office environment

· Communicate effectively with co-workers, clients and supervisors

· Confidence with technology in a small office

· Knowledge of bookkeeping (manual and computerized) is a definite asset, but is not a requirement.

Position to commence at a mutually agreed date on or before March 1, 2024. Salary will be negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. Only successful candidates will be contacted for an interview.
