Description
In this role, you will co-lead the gallerys operations and strategy, working in tandem with the Artistic Director. Youll be a key liaison with our Board of Directors, an experienced programming and administrative team, plus our robust network of community partners, volunteers, supporters, and funders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial planning, operations, and strategic growth in collaboration with the Artistic Director. Includes writing grant proposals.
- Engage actively with the Board of Directors in strategic decision-making and reporting.
- Design a growth and sustainability strategy.
- Build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, aligning with the gallerys mission and goals.
- Establish and cultivate partnerships and donors.
- Attract new revenues to increase operational and activity budgets.
- Supervise and inspire a skilled administrative team, fostering a collaborative and efficient environment. Including overseeing management of volunteers.
Qualifications:
- Business Management or Financial Degree (or equivalent).
- Demonstrated success with budgeting & resources management.
- Experience in the non-profit sector, working with boards and diverse teams.
- Strong network-building skills with community partners and funders.
- Criminal record check required for employment.
Shared Leadership and Strategic Collaboration:
- Partner with the Artistic Director in a dual leadership role, shaping the gallerys strategic direction.
- Engage in meaningful dialogue and collaboration with the Board of Directors and other staff.
- Foster long-term relationships with donors, sponsors, volunteers and community leaders.
