Job Summary
CIMT College is looking for an Admissions Coordinatorfor handling and managing potential leads for enrollment in our college. Our ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about sales and marketing strategies and must strive to deliver results effectively. Admissions Coordinator will support the recruitment activities within the Admissions team. Experience in the Private Career College or Education sector will be considered an asset
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or Higher
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint for
document preparation, presentations, reports, and spreadsheets. - Previous work experience in a call center and/or in an Ontario Career College will be
considered advantageous.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedule Student Interviews:Admissions Coordinators will schedule interviews with prospective students as part of the admissions process. These interviews can help assess a student's suitability for a particular program or the college in general.
- Pre-Screening prospective students: Review, evaluate, and processes students profile for admission to all programs according to established criteria
- Outreach: Admissions: Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students. Admissions coordinators respond to inquiries, provide information about programs, admission requirements, and financial aid options, and guide applicants through the application process.
- Support and Guidance: Admissions Coordinator offers support and guidance to applicants throughout the admissions process, helping them understand the requirements.
- Record Management:Admissions Coordinator maintains accurate and up-to-date records of all applicants, including contact information, application status, and admission decisions. This data is often used for reporting and analysis.
- Daily Activity: Consistently reaching out to 80-100 leads and aiding the college in converting these leads into successful enrollments by arranging appointments for the Admissions Team.

- Effective Communication:Strong communication and active-listening skills to explain regulations and procedures, address concerns accurately, and provide support.
- Empathy: Ability to empathize with others, maintain discretion, andconfidentiality, and handle challenging situations in a non-judgmental manner.
- Emotional Intelligence: Ability to identify, understand, and manage emotions in a positive way, and interact professionally with others.
- Time Management: Capability to work in a high-pressure environment, make independent decisions, and set priorities to respond quickly to time-sensitive matters.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to assist and support students.
